To anyone tired of asking permission—
YOUR PC.
YOUR RULES.
FIX IT ALL.
Locked into ecosystems. Waiting on roadmaps.
Your computer should move when you do.
Omarchy Stories is a pirate radio podcast with Basti and the people taking their computers back. Beautiful Linux. Tools you can change. A community that believes we can fix everything.
↓ PICK UP THE SIGNALNo permission slip. Just a very long antenna.
Your feature request is number 84,291 in the queue. Or we could just build it. We can fix everything.
01 / TRANSMISSIONS FROM THE WORKBENCH
Real people.
Root access.
Meet the people shaping Omarchy.
The tools, the experiments, the fixes. And the occasional glorious mistake.
Your computer.
Not a waiting room.
Somewhere along the way, personal computers stopped feeling personal.
You buy the machine, then wait for someone else to decide what it can do. Locked ecosystems. Features behind subscriptions. Want to change direction? Good luck turning that supertanker.
I’m Basti. This station is for the people who would rather pick up a tool than a support ticket. Omarchy starts with strong opinions and beautiful Linux. Then you make it yours: change the theme, build a plugin, ask an agent to help, fix what gets in your way.
These are their stories: what they built, what broke, and what we can learn from each other. We can fix everything. Bring your curiosity. The soldering iron is optional.
See you on the airwaves.— Basti
